So I have been accepted into three schools for the spring : Chico State, Humboldt State, and San Francisco State. I am aiming to be a Molecular/Cellular biology major with a minor in botany. I have absolutely no interest in Chico state though I know its a good school. So I'm stuck between the other two which is Humboldt state and SF state. I am a Nigerian American girl who has lived near SF her entire life. I'm looking to get away from home but at the same time I want to make sure I take good classes. At SF they have a variety of classes to choose from, diverse community,and the atmosphere of 'the city'. On the other hand, Humboldt is a beautiful campus surrounded by the redwoods. They have excellent biology programs and are one of the few colleges that actually offer Botany as a major/minor (elsewhere I would have to take plant biology). Going up there I will be on my own and I will get experience with taking care of myself. Plus I'll be surrounded by the things that inspired me to minor in botany in the first place. I really don't know. Please help!!
