I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this or not, I'm new!
I was academically dismissed from my California cc. I know, VERY bad. I took a semester off, did some soul searching and pretty much fixed myself. I came back this semester strong and ended with a 3.8 GPA with 3/4 classes transferable. The thing is, I achieved this at a different cc than the one I was dismissed from (can't go back there until Fall 2016). While I was at the old cc, I received financial aid and the bog waiver. It was obviously disqualified so I've been paying out of pocket this semester. I know I will have to reapply for financial aid for the new college, but will the old colleges grades affect my chances? Will I have to wait until my dismissal time is over and bring my gpa at the old cc back up or can I receive aid at the new cc with my improved grades? And I do know eventually I will have to go back to that cc and fix it all in order to transfer. Sorry if this is all over the place.
