I currently go to SFSU and am a first year there, but I really want to transfer. It's not that I don't like my current school, it's just I'd rather go somewhere else and be in a different city. I was thinking about transferring to Barnard or Sarah Lawrence. I just don't want to waste money on applications if I won't get in. So in high school I took AP/IB courses but I didn't do so well. I'm talking C's and D's. Mainly, due to being stressed and having emotional/personal problems. I got an average score on both my SATs and ACTs. Now, so far in college I have two Bs and one A and I'm volunteering at a local rape crisis center. I have improved my grades significantly since high school and I am more involved in extracurriculars, but will it be enough.
