I am currently a freshmen student at the College of the Holy Cross. I am looking to transfer because of the social life and campus culture and I want a school with more of an international relations or studies program.
My stats are HS GPA: 9.95 unweighted
took 4 APs and am an AP distinguished scholar and was on high honor role.
Most of my high school education was at an international school in Brussels, Belgium.
I was really involved in Amnesty International, tutoring, science club, and ran a knitting club.
my College GPA 3.68 after one semester. I was on the dean's list and i have heard this is a good gpa for a Holy Cross student because of grade deflation.
I am involved in tutoring and a charity knitting club.
What I like about Holy Cross are the small classes and having a relationship with my professor. I would like Holy Cross to work out for me, but right now it isn't. There are very limited extracurriculars that relate to international relations and I am having trouble finding students with similar priorities and interests. I am looking for a school with a good IR program, many extracurricular in my area of interests, and a more diverse population, but I would also like to go to a school where the professors talk to undergrads. I have looked at Washington University St.Louis, Georgetown, Notre Dame, and Northwestern, but I am unsure if I will get in and these schools are all on the bigger side. Thanks to anyone that has read my long post!
