I applied to transfer to Pomona College earlier this month. At that time, I was in the middle of my school's "winter term" during which all the students only enroll in 1 class for four weeks. I did not want to send a mid term grade report with only one class's grades, but that meant having to wait another 3 weeks before I even began my spring semester. On top of that, I could not send a report of grades from classes that only just started (as the grades would, although they'd be As, not reflect my true effort.)
In short, my mid term grade report is very late. What should I do? Should I email the office of admissions and explain this? Do nothing and send the report next week? Include a note with my mid term reports?
