I just accepted my offer of admissions from Cal Poly. I am a transfer student. I accepted it because I have to do so to apply for housing. I know it was probably too early to submit my intent to register, but I just want to make sure that I am able to live on campus in the fall. People say that the housing fills up very quickly.
So what would I do now if in early April I find out that a UC that I applied to (I applied to davis, santa barb, san diego, la, and berkely) offers me a lot of free money to go there? Do they know right now that I already submitted my intent to register to Cal Poly? Will that affect my application review process?
Have any of you accepted admission somewhere and then had to change your mind because a new, better opportunity was put in front if you? Any information would be greatly appreciated
I am a community college transfer, applied math major, GPA 3.88. IGETC is completed, and all available major pre reqs are completed. Also, I worked part time about 25 hrs/week my whole time at cc. My family is middle class and I am hispanic
