Hi Everyone! Long time reader, first time poster.
So, I am a incoming Sophomore at a two year community college in Texas, and I am looking to transfer to a four year college in the Spring of 2017.
So far, I have narrowed down my search to three:
UMass Amherst (My first choice, but a reach)
UMass Lowell
University of Texas at San Antonio
I will be applying to Lowell with a Marketing major, and Amherst and UTSA with Sport Management.
The questions I have are:
1. What is the minimum GPA I should have for a business transfer for each of these schools? (I will have around a 2.8-3.0, I am currently taking summer courses)
2. What does a "transfer friendly" school really mean? Lowell states that they are a "transfer friendly" school and I am curious to what this really means.
3. And lastly, what other schools would be a match based on my GPA alone? I want to do business majors, nothing else.
Thanks everyone, and if you have any other questions, let me know!
