I have been having a hard time deciding what to chose for my college path. I am an incoming freshman to UCR (business but switched to bio major during orientation) , this was not my first choice school. I am committed to 3 schools (weird). I am committed to Pepperdine University as a pre-business major for spring semester which starts in January, but will probably not attend due to the price. I am also currently attending community college (as a trial) to see if I will enjoy it. I went to UCR orientation and HATED IT so much that I came home crying. I hated the environment, the weather and I did not click in with anyone. I was wondering if I should stay in community college if I want to transfer but I know that community colleges aim towards UC's rather than privates. Should I go to UCR and try transferring to University of San Francisco (which I was previously offered admission but my parents did not let me go) or should I go to a community college and transfer after a few years. Also is it possible to transfer after a few quarters/semesters if it is a private? Thanks!
