I'm currently attending a community college part-time, though I was supposed to go full-time but I really couldn't without my schedule being really messy since I applied fairly close to the deadline of registering for classes. I went to register for classes almost immediately after taking my GED in which I received a cumulative score of 647. I pretty much rushed into this at the last moment. I planned on transferring either way, but I'd like to do it earlier now. I want to transfer to Illinois State University. I checked the admissions requirements for transfer students and I pretty much meet them all. I scored high enough on the GED and I have my ACT scores as well. I'm just taking some pre-reqs at CC currently, but I'd assume they wouldn't look at those if I did apply at this very moment. I'd like to apply for the summer semester, would it be a good idea to apply now or wait until I get the 9 credits I'm working towards right now? I'd assume that applying now might increase my chances of acceptance for applying fairly early.
