CSU Application - Do "attempted units" include units from courses in progress?

I've completed 25.7 units (18.7 units from AP courses according to the Transfer Admission Planner) and am currently taking 17 right now. Would that make my attempted units 42.7 or does it remain 25.7? Thanks in advance!
