I have a very unusual situation. I dropped out after 8th grade due to financial problems and mental health issues, but got my GED as soon as I turned 16. I applied for Loyola (New Orleans), and they turned me down but expressed interest in me applying as a transfer studen. I'm now at my local university, UNO, and I was planning to settle, but literally everything about it is lackluster and disappointing. The classes are too easy, and there's absolutely no resources for my major (pre-law political science). I really want to transfer to Loyola because I feel as if the environment would be much more suitable to my needs, but there's an issue with that... I also plan on transfering to UMBC or Loyola Maryland for my junior year. When I apply to those schools, will they be offput by the fact that I've already transferred once before?
