I am a second year student at a community college in Pennsylvania. I am looking to transfer to a 4 year school to get a degree in history, while I have considered the "nicer" state schools like Penn State or Pitt they cost to much and don't offer much in state aid, not enough to make them affordable for me. I could go to a PASSHE school but I haven't found any of their history programs to be particularly appealing. Could anyone suggest any schools that I could reasonably get into as a transfer student that offer decent aid? I wouldn't mind attending a small liberal arts college, although I'm pretty flexible on the type of school I go to, I just want it to be affordable. I'm not overly concerned about them being in state as all courses I have taken are easily transferable having direct equivalents at most schools. My current GPA is 3.53 through 48 credits.
