I have a long story that most of you would probably not want to read, so I'll give a short overview instead.
Basically, I had some personal issues from the age of 18-20 which held me back academically. I'm now a 22 yr old, and will be finishing my AA degree this Spring semester. I took 5 courses in Fall and ended up with a 4.0. GPA. I am now taking 6 pretty tough courses this semester and am confident i'll earn a 4.0 again. I really screwed up my freshman year which will in turn have my GPA around a 3.3-3.4 when I'm finished.
Do you guys think FSU admission will consider the upward spike in my GPA because it is so extensive? I'm talking about a 2.2 with easy classes to a 4.0 with much harder courses. Also, I'll be applying much later for the 2017 Spring semester than most, because I want to finish this semester to increase my GPA.
Any tips or insight would be greatly appreciated! :)
