Hello!
I am currently a student at a CCC and I was simply wondering about requirements/averages to transfer to UCLA/USC/NYU.
I'm aware to transfer to UCLA you need 60 credits, but I have no idea about USC and NYU. Counselors here don't really know much about anything other than public California schools so any help would be greatly appreciated. I should state that I plan on applying to UCLA and USC as a film major and NYU as either film or drama, not sure yet. I've been told that NYU it's pretty 50/50 on portfolio/school performance, and that schools like UCLA or USC would accept a student with a lower GPA than the average (like a student with a 3.5 rather than their average of a 3.7) for art majors and if anyone has any say about this, that would be lovely.
I would also like to state that I am doing TAG for UCSC, although it's a bit out of my realm I would like to hear people (who have attended) opinion on UCSC.
And lastly, if you're aware of any other schools that would be good for my interest, please let me know.
So to restate one last time, if anyone could give me any information on any of this for UCLA, USC and NYU
credits needed to transfer:

and just what they might have experienced or heard about the programs.
THANK YOU!
