GEORGE MASON TRANSFER SPRING 2016

CHANCE ME! Hi. I want to know the chances of me getting into George Mason as a Spring 2016 transfer BS in Community Health major. I am currently an undergraduate student at another accredited public college, and after my first semester I will have 19 college credits (I took an english college credit at community college [received an A] that is transferable to both Mason and the school I currently attend----and I am taking 16 credits at the college I am currently at). Mason requests that transfer students have at least 30 college credits, but states that students that with less than 30 college credits can still apply to transfer but must meet GMU Freshman requirements (send high school transcript and ACT/SAT scores). My record is as follows: High School Senior Year GPA: 4.04 Cumulative High School GPA: 3.63 Advanced Diploma AP Courses: AP Biology, AP US History, AP Comparative Government, AP US Government, AP French, AP Calculus AB Took many honors courses (only took 2 academic courses because honors was not offered for those course) Activities: • Model United Nations member • Student Council Association • French Honors Society • Church youth group • French Club • Varsity Girls Track & Field • UMD Summer Girls Physics Summer Enrichment Program • Summer Leadership Enrichment Program • Red Cross Club • JV Girls Basketball • Band • Freshman Girls Basketball Leadership: • Leadership: Model United Nations President & Secretary • Leadership: Student Council Association Leadership Class • Leadership: SCA Officer • Leadership: Advisory Council Member Leadership: Church Youth Group Secretary Leadership: Creator and owner of tutoring business I run in the summer Volunteer work: Had over 150 hours of volunteer work in high school ACT w/ Writing Score: 26 (cumulative); 22= English; 27= Math; Reading= 32, Essay= 9/12; Science=24 College Taking: History Lecture, Chemistry Lecture, Chemistry Lab, Comparative Politics Lecture, Leadership Lecture (so far have A's, B's, and C+) Member of 2 clubs and applicant only leadership program Speak/Comprehend 2 other languages other than English (French and another language) Minority Female
