I recently made a post on whether I should withdraw a class I'm failing. After speaking to the transfer advisor at my community college and reading the replies on here, I've decide to drop that class. Unfortunately, this class is a requirement to complete my Associates program, but not a requirement for my major at the 4-year I plan on transferring too (UNC Chapel Hill).
I really did want to graduate from my CC because I've enjoyed my time and have done well, but not at the expense of possibly not getting into UNC Chapel Hill.
Once I transfer I will have close to 60 credits. Will not have completing those last 4 credits hurt my chances of getting accepted into UNC? I have a friend who recently transferred to UNC without completing getting an Associates, but I want to know other peoples experience with this?
I have looked on the UNC website and it does say that you can transfer without completing your associates, but it doesn't say if they have a preference or not.
I am attending a CC in North Carolina and based on the transfer equivalency chart it seems most of my credits should transfer.
