Hi! I'm currently an international CC student in Texas. My sister wants me to transfer to UNT after my first year because she told me it's very different being in a CC and an actual university(exposure etc.). However, I would like to go to UT Austin eventually.
Here's my question: Would transferring to UNT first, and then apply to UT after one year hurt my chances of getting into UT?
I realized it is best for me to stay in CC for 2 years then apply to UT, but I would really appreciate some information about transferring twice.
I currently have a 4.0 GPA and luckily my parents are willing to pay for either CC or UT/UNT.
Any insight/opinion would be incredibly helpful!
