I just transferred to a state school as a junior 2 hours from my house. I was so excited to be living in a house with my best friend and a couple other roommates. My excitement was short lived about 2 hours into moving in. I felt an overwhelming sense of homesickness. I spent the next couple days balling my eyes out and constantly calling my mom. I feel like I'm stuck there and I hate it. I kept asking my parents if I could just come home and transfer to a school that is in my home town but I don't want to let anyone down or be the girl who can't be away from home. Either way I have to stick it out for this quarter. Any suggestions or has anyone experienced something similar?
