CC to CSU transfer question

Hey all, I have a quick question: in order to transfer to a CSU from a CC, do you need just 60 units including the igetc? or do you need to take major prereq courses as well? If you need major prereq's to transfer as well, do you need to take all of the ones listed on Assist? or can you get into a school by just taking some of the major prereqs? Thank you!
