Hey CC community, I have a very important question that might determine my future. I am debating weather or not to stay at my current university or transfer. I currently attend Virginia Tech (VT), as a freshman, and have thoughts of transferring to Georgia Tech (GT) because I want to move closer to home. Don't get me wrong, VT has a lot of opportunities to utilize. I formed a business team, and we are launching a startup company in Blacksburg while competing in an entrepreneurship competition for seed capital. I got accustomed to VT's environment, and have a business plan to start selling my product in the Blacksburg region. However, not downsizing VT, its a great school with a lot of opportunities, but being in a rural area there isn't a lot of business collaboration and venture capitalism. I talked to my business team of transferring closer to home, since I'm from Atlanta. Growing up in the Atlanta area, and being accustomed to GT's environment, I know there is a lot of business activity and entrepreneurship challenges which will benefit our business. I do have another business plan if I were to transfer to GT. What do you think I should do, stay at VT or plan to go to GT?
