So I have been at my community college for three years. I have been a 4.0 student until this past summer when I first got a B for intermediate algebra (a remedial course.) However, my transcript includes 3 W's, and 1 academic renewal for an Algebra course. I got an "F" in the fall (of 2014) re-took in Spring and got an "A." I'm studying to be a teacher with an emphasis on History. I have taken 4 History classes (including 1 honors) and am enrolled in another History class for the Spring and another Honors course (Astronomy) I have received all A's in my major classes. In addition, I have A's for my two English classes (composition, and critical thinking.)
The downfall is that this semester I did not pass Statistics which was the only college level math class I needed. I got a "D" but I have enrolled in the same class for Winter which will end in February, and I can get academic renewal (I believe.)
I applied to 3 UC'S (UCLA, Berkeley, USCB) and 3 CSU's (Long Beach, Fullerton, Northridge) this past November.
I am hoping to apply to Pepperdine University (my first choice!) in January, and was thinking of also applying to USC and LMU in February.
I thought I was a semi-decent candidate until I did not pass statistics :(
Now I feel like I am in jeopardy.
What are my chances of getting into these schools??? I know most of these schools require Stats to be done by the Fall so I don't know
What do you all think?
Answers are much appreciated!!!!
